Production Manager

Due to our recent 140,000 square foot expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on manager, comfortable out on plant floor, in a metal fabrication environment. Must be goal oriented and driven to continuous improvement. This person is responsible for meeting company goals, labor efficiency improvements, developing department supervisors, and daily problem solving in a union environment. Experience with sheet metal fabrication techniques required. Reports to VP of Mfg. Salary commensurate with experience.

2nd Shift Supervisor

Loren Cook Company is accepting applications for supervisors experienced in a metal manufacturing environment. Preferred candidate will have excellent mechanical, analytical and communication skills with a strong desire to grow and succeed. Competitive salary based on experience.


  • Train, coach, and develop production employees
  • Review and evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Apply and enforce workplace policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure production schedules are met

  • Sheet metal fabrication and/or assembly experience is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role
  • Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing
  • High school diploma/GED is required
  • Must be goal oriented, organized and have strong organizational skills

Customer Service/Technical Advisor

We are seeking a customer service oriented individual with a mechanical and/or electrical background to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service in our industry. This position is the primary contact for our manufacturer's representatives to assist in interpreting specifications and cross referencing other manufacturer's products to develop job quotes and the administration of orders after they are entered into production. Internal duties include communicating with Sales on the status of orders, with Engineering and Production on meeting product specifications and revisions, and Production Control to ensure that orders are delivered on schedule.


Experience in industrial technology is preferred, but a comparable background with HVAC experience would be considered with experience in motor controls and building management systems. Must be detail oriented with excellent communication and problem solving skills.


Must be proficient with tape measures and hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints is required. Starting pay $16.95 with guaranteed minimum pay increase to $18.35 within one year. First shift hours are 6:55 am to 3:25 pm, Mon-Fri. Second shift hours are 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Mon-Fri.

Second Shift Welders

Must pass a basic Mig Weld test, and read welding blueprints. Starting pay $17.95 with guaranteed minimum pay increase to $19.35 within one year. Second shift hours are 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Mon-Fri.

Part Time Custodian

We are seeking an experienced custodian for our corporate offices. Duties include sweeping, dusting, trash, polishing floors and general office cleaning. Ideal candidate will have a min of 2 years janitorial experience with a stable work history and verifiable references. Professional appearance required. Evening hours, Mon-Fri, 5pm to 9pm. Engineering Intern

Duties include creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings under the guidance of our Design Engineers, assisting with product testing in our lab, distribution of drawings to the shop floor as well as other engineering projects as needed.

This is a great opportunity to gain work experience in our newly remodeled Engineering, Research & Development facility and interact with our engineers, designers and technicians in an innovative, technical environment.

Preferred candidate will have basic knowledge of CAD, good organizational and communication skills, a willingness to learn and be available for approximately 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible based on class schedule .
