Senior Human Resources Generalist

We have an opening for a Senior Human Resources Generalist. Preferred candidate will have 3 – 5 years of experience or a degree in Human Resources. Duties include all facets of recruiting and hiring, and will be responsible for the administration of all benefits including health, life, disability, and 401(k). Generalist will be involved with labor relations and other HR duties as assigned. Comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary based on experience.

Order Entry Specialist

We are seeking an Order Entry Specialist to analyze, enter and check orders for an extensive product line. This person will also communicate by phone with sales representatives and in person with other office staff. Requirements include data entry accuracy and speed. Good customer relations skills are a must. Preferred candidate will have previous experience in a professional work environment and a history of stable employment.

Graphic Designer

We are currently seeking a graphic designer to be responsible for designing and creating graphics and literature in support of our Product Design Engineering and Marketing departments. This includes creating images and graphics for brochures and catalogs as well as our company website and social media outlets. Preferred candidate will have an Associates Degree in Graphic Design or 3-5 years of related experience. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

2nd Shift Assemblers and Welders

Must be proficient with tape measures and hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints is required. Welders must pass a basic mig weld test. Starting pay $16.95 to $17.95 with guaranteed increases. Second shift hours are 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. Mon-Fri.

2nd Shift Supervisor

We are accepting applications for 2nd shift supervisors with experience in a manufacturing environment. Sheet metal fabrication and/or assembly experience is required. Must be goal oriented with excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

Design Engineer

Job Description
Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of Loren Cook air moving equipment utilizing Computer Aided Design, CAD, during the design process.

Design air moving equipment utilizing CAD software and other Engineering design tools to meet project requirements.
Manages and coordinates product development projects to ensure the design meets requirements and is completed in the required time frame.
Participates in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and modified products.
Coordinates with the Structural Engineer to ensure structural integrity of products.
Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
Review progress continually through product life cycle to ensure attainment of objectives.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science – Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in product development utilizing CAD software
Experience with Control System Design and Sheet Metal Fabrication is preferred
Experience with Autodesk Inventor desired
Experience with structural analysis and/or computational fluid dynamics helpful but not required

Product Designer

Job Description
Product Designer is responsible for designing and documenting air moving equipment under the guidance of a Design Engineer.

Create 3D models and assemblies of equipment as required for assigned project.
Generate the required 2D drawings to document the design and communicate requirements to production personnel and/or customers.
Support production as required to communicate design intent to shop personnel.
Collaborate with Design Engineer on the development of products to ensure that design standards and structural integrity are maintained.
Maintain existing drawings and complete work within the Engineering Change system as required.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor of Science – Design/Industrial Technology
3-5 years of experience in mechanical design utilizing CAD software
Hands-on design experience with sheet metal products required
Experience with Autodesk Inventor desired
