We currently have manufacturing positions available. Openings include Assemblers, Welders. Machine Operators, Painter Helpers, and Craters. Please see individual job descriptions for more information.
Assemblers
We are currently seeking Assemblers to join our growing team. This position will start at $18.00 for 1st shift and $18.20 for 2nd shift with guaranteed increases totaling over $6000 within the first year. Training is provided.
Production Supervisors
We are accepting applications for supervisors experienced in a manufacturing environment. Competitive salary based on experience. A supervisor will review and evaluate production processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Apply and enforce workplace policies and procedures. Train, coach, and develop production employees. Collaborate with other departments to ensure production schedules are met.
Maintenance Repair Technician
We are currently seeking to add a Maintenance Repair Technician to add to our growing team. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repair of a wide variety of metal fabrication machinery, maintenance of building, and various preventive maintenance duties.
First shift: 6:55am to 3:25pm.
Second shift: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

We are looking for an experienced and talented Tool and Die Technician to join our team.
Machine Programmer
Loren Cook Company is currently seeking an experienced FabriWIN/Radan Programmer to join our growing team.
IBM i Programmer
Loren Cook Company is currently seeking an experienced IBM i / iSeries / AS400 Programmer to join our growing team. This person will be responsible for developing new applications, maintenance and modifications of the existing system. The Programmer must display the ability to learn new skills and be able to work effectively with all areas of the company. Good communication skills and willingness to be a team player is a must. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on Web and Windows applications as part of a cross functional team. As a member of Loren Cook’s technology department you have access to the latest IBM i, Windows, Web and Cloud technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year experience or recent formal training in a high level programming language
- Experience with (or willing to learn) RPG, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE and CL.
- Excellent communication skills
Beneficial Qualifications:
- Experience with IBM iSeries operating system admin and system backups
- Knowledge in programming and working with APIs and Restful Web Services

Design Engineer
Design Engineer is responsible for the design and development of Loren Cook air moving equipment utilizing Computer Aided Design, CAD, during the design process.
Engineering Intern
Engineering Intern is a great opportunity to gain work experience in our newly remodeled Engineering, Research & Development facility and interact with our engineers, designers and technicians in an innovative, technical environment. Duties include creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings under the guidance of our Design Engineers, assisting with product testing in our lab, distribution of drawings to the shop floor as well as other engineering projects as needed. This is a paid position.

This entry level position is responsible for pulling, processing and organizing job information files.
Software Engineer
We are currently expanding our in-house technology team and looking for an experienced Software Engineer. The candidate will work with a small, Agile team consisting of both internal and external developers focused on building and maintaining a new cutting-edge single page web application.
As a Software Engineer, you will work to develop our new product selection, configuration and ordering application in a continuously integrated environment. In addition to writing code, you will build automated regression tests, participate in peer code reviews, planning meetings and provide time estimates on work.
Order Entry Specialist
We are seeking an Order Entry Specialist to analyze, enter and check orders for an extensive product line. This person will work with sales representatives and office personnel to obtain all data needed to process the orders. Top candidates will have data entry accuracy and speed, and excellent attention to detail. Good customer relations skills are a must. Preferred candidate will have previous experience in a professional work environment and a history of stable employment.
